Facebook Camera Launch

At Facebook I worked in-house with the Camera Effects team to launch Facebook Camera . At the time this was a swipe-to-camera mechanic within the App.

The launch involved a product-centric video showcasing how rich the Camera experience was with tools for sharing stories, frames, masks and direct messaging. We also created Facebook in-App ads driving to the product. I worked closely with designers and engineers to concept and develop the very first Camera Effects, including one commission by Hattie Stewart below.

Results

The new in-app camera was launched with a video and carousel ad that inspired people to try it, resuting in an 8.8% lift in daily camera captures.

Over 147 Million people reached.
